Missile Silo

Missile silos are buildings that store Interplanetary Missiles and Interceptors.

Each level provides space for 5 interplanetary missiles or 10 interceptors.
The silo is shared by both types of missile but 1 interplanetary missile takes as much space as 2 interceptors.1)

Missile silos can only be demolished when empty.
Individual missiles can be destroyed from a screen accessed by clicking on „Missile Silo“ in the Buildings page.
This can free up space for a different mix of missile types.
Unlike demolition of buildings, missiles are destroyed instantly and without any cost (nor refund).

Missile silos cannot be built on a moon.

Like all buildings, the missile silo cannot be destroyed by enemies.
However, stored interplanetary missiles can be destroyed by enemy interplanetary missiles if all interceptors and all defenses have been destroyed first.
