Ships
Ships (rarely called spaceships) are the most important units in Pr0game. They are produced in the Shipyard.
Ship Types
Transporters
Transporters are spaceships that can efficiently transport resources. While large transporters can carry the most resources relative to their costs, small transporters become significantly faster than their larger counterparts from Impulse Drive level 5 onwards. On attacks, it's always advisable to include transporters to loot as many resources as possible, as all warships, except for Deathstars, have little cargo capacity. Transporters are also well-suited for resource delivery between planets. Although the Deathstar is a warship, its cargo capacity of 1 million also makes it suitable as a transport ship.
Warships
Warships include Light Fighters, Heavy Fighters, Cruisers, Battleships, Bombers, Destroyers, Deathstars, and Battlecruisers. They all have different sizes and advantages. Light Fighters and Heavy Fighters are used as fodder to protect the more expensive heavy ships. However, Heavy Fighters are by far the least popular ship class due to their high crystal cost. They are only sensible against Cruiser fleets. Battleships are the cheapest heavy ships in terms of both cost-effectiveness in attack strength and deuterium consumption. Cruisers and Battlecruisers are perfect for destroying fleets consisting of Light Fighters and Battleships due to their high Rapidfire. Bombers, Destroyers, and Deathstars are perfect for cracking defenses. Bombers have high Rapidfire against some defensive structures while Destroyers offer more damage and armor. Deathstars are by far the largest ships and can only take damage from heavy ships, as their shield absorbs everything else.
Espionage Probes
Espionage Probes are intended for spying on other planets. These probes can easily be repelled by other spaceships since they possess neither attack strength nor shields. Espionage defense is only made possible by ships. If no ships are stationed at the target, the chance of espionage defense is always 0%. Having many defensive structures does not help against espionage! The number of ships, however, determines the probability that the Espionage Probes will be shot down. However, the attacker still receives an Espionage Report, even if no probes return. The more probes sent, the higher the chance of espionage defense, and the more detailed the Espionage Report. The amount of information an Espionage Report contains depends on the number of Espionage Probes and the level of one's own Espionage Technology. The enemy's espionage technology reduces the information received.
Colony Ships
Colony ships can colonize other, uninhabited planets. When a Colony Ship colonizes a new planet, the ship is dismantled and is not reusable. Even if a return time is indicated in the overview, if colonization is successful, no Colony Ship will return. Escort ships will unload any resources brought along to the new colony and fly back. However, the Colony Ship may return if no planet was found, if another player has „beaten you to it,“ or if you have reached the maximum number of planets that can be achieved at the level of Astrophysics.
Recyclers
Recyclers are needed to dismantle a Debris Field (DF) that has formed after a battle. However, their speed is very low. A flight to one's own DF lasts a maximum of 20 minutes (at a speed of 10%, a maximum of 3 hours and 30 minutes).
Solar Satellites
Solar Satellites generate energy and require no fields. They can easily be destroyed in battles. The farther a planet is from the sun, the less energy the satellites provide.

This is a table of all ships for easier comparison. Here you can see the values, as well as the costs for each ship type.
