Coordinates
Coordinates (short: Coords) are used in pr0game to uniquely identify a planet within a universe and specify its exact position. A planet's coordinates consist of three parts, usually separated by colons.
Example: All coordinates lie between 1:1:1 and 4:400:15
Galaxy number
The number of the galaxy is on the far left. In Uni 2, for example, there are 4 galaxies.
System number
The number of the solar system is in the middle. Each galaxy has 400 solar systems, so this part of the coordinates can range from 1-400.
Position number
The position within the solar system is last. Each solar system consists of 15 planets, with "1" being the closest to the sun and "15" the furthest away. Position 16 is an exception: it cannot be colonized, but expeditions can be sent there to find resources or ships.
Special case
Within one and the same coordinates, however, not only a planet but up to three different objects can exist simultaneously: a Planet, a debris field and a moon. Since Uni 3, a wreck field has been added as a fourth possible object. All of these objects share the same coordinates. Instead of a planet, a asteroid field can also occupy a position. Empty positions without a planet are still free and can be settled.
