Rules
- !: The rules can change, and every user is obligated to keep themselves informed of the current state at all times! :!:
- !: Links to more detailed versions of the individual rules are at the end of the page! :!:
1. Accounts
The owner of an account is always the holder of the fixed email address. An account may only ever be played by one person.
The only exception is account sitting.
Should it become necessary for someone else's account to be monitored or put into vacation mode, the responsible moderator/admin must be informed beforehand and their approval obtained.
For short-term sitting under 12 hours, a report to the moderator/admin is sufficient.
While sitting, all fleet movements are prohibited, except for saving the fleet at the coordinates of the account being sat for, and spending the resources on the planet
where they are located, which is allowed.
An account may be sat for at most 72h, and this at most every 4 weeks.
Exceptions require the permission of a moderator/admin.
An account may be handed over at most every 3 months, and exclusively free of charge.
2. Multi-Accounts
Every player is only allowed to play one account per universe.
If two or more accounts are usually, occasionally, or permanently played from the same internet connection (e.g. schools, universities or internet cafés),
this must be reported to a moderator/admin in advance.
In such cases, any fleet contact between the accounts in question is prohibited while they use the same internet connection.
Other forms of collusion are likewise prohibited.
3. Pushing
Pushing is fundamentally prohibited. Pushing is defined as, for example, any resource transports or moon-shot attempts without appropriate compensation from lower-scoring accounts to higher-scoring accounts.
A trade must be completed within 24 hours.
Exceptions must be approved in advance by the moderators/admins via Discord ticket or in-game private message.
A missing approval or disregarding this rule can result in a ban.
3.1 Trading and Attacks
If players want to sell or distribute resources to other players, they may do so at a ratio between 75% and 125% of the market price.
Special Case
If, after attacks with Death Stars, it is not possible to distribute the captured resources within the 24h window, this is generally permitted, but must be reported to the moderators/admins.
3.2 Farewell KBs
Farewell KBs (kill-mails) must generally be cleared with the moderators/admins in advance.
3.3 Market Manipulation
Deliberately influencing the market exchange rate is prohibited. This can lead to a ban!
4. Bashing
More than 6 attacks within 24 hours on the same planet count as bashing and are prohibited (the moon counts as a separate planet)
Attacks with espionage probes or interplanetary missiles do not count towards this.
The bashing rule applies exclusively to active players.
If the parties are at war, further attacks are permitted.
The war must be declared on Discord at least 24 hours before further attacks (both alliances, or the name of the individual player declaring war, must be named correctly in the announcement thread).
A declaration of war can only be directed at alliances, though the declaration itself may be made by an alliance or an individual.
Accepting the war is not required.
Wars that are obviously only intended to massively circumvent the bashing rule are prohibited.
Judging this is the responsibility of the relevant moderators and admins.
5. Iraq Attacks
Only 1,000 Iraq attacks (missile attacks) per 24 hours are allowed. The number of missiles per attack is not limited.
6. Bug Using
Exploiting bugs and/or programming errors is prohibited.
Discovered bugs should be reported as quickly as possible via a GIT issue or in the Discord channel #bugs.
Cheating is likewise prohibited.
6.1 Tools and Applications
Using external tools and userscripts that have not been fully approved is prohibited.
Scripts and tools should not offer any gameplay advantage that a player wouldn't have without them.
To clear up any uncertainties regarding a tool's rule compliance, a moderator/administrator should be contacted.
For this approval process, the tool must be made available to a designated reviewer and approved.
Should a tool be approved through this review process, its features (not the tool itself) will be published by the reviewing body.
- !: Note :!:
Publishing and providing self-developed tools is mandatory.
6.2 Abusing the Anti-Vulture Mechanic
Deliberately abusing the Anti-Vulture mechanic in order to, for example, conduct Graviton Research undisturbed, is prohibited and is punished with a ban.
7. Threats/Insults
Real-life extortion and threats result in exclusion from one or all areas of the game.
Real-life extortion and threats are defined as any communication
that clearly signals intent to identify a person and cause harm to them or a third party close to them.
8. Spam and Erotic Content
Spamming and advertising for third parties is prohibited.
Any form of erotic or pornographic content is prohibited and is punished with a universe-wide, permanent ban!
9. Bullying
- !: Behavior harmful to the community & bullying are not welcome here :!:
To define this: bullying is any behavior that involves repeated, regular psychological harassment, tormenting, and hurting.
Whether from individual persons, or from a group of people in a position of power.
Abuse of power, threats of violence, insults, harassment, humiliation and exclusion are just a few examples of how bullying can occur.
If you experience bullying yourself, or become aware of it, feel free to report it to us!
We will try to find a way out of it.
- !: Bullying does not go without consequences :!:
